FLOATING JETTY FOR TIPL

Though we are based in Mumbai very few projects of Floating Jetty we have done in Mumbai. Floating Jetty for TIPL is also one of such project. TIPL (Thakur Infra Projects Pvt Ltd) is Navi Mumbai’s biggest name for various luxurious & affordable infrastructures projects.

We grab the opportunity when their management asked us for Floating Jetty at their CBD site for their private boat. Area was less than 50 sqm but the project itself was tough due to the site. The site was back water and had very huge range of high tides & low tides for calculations of gangway. We had made a sturdy gangway but for more safety of the project we ourselves added double layer at the bottom of gangway giving it more strength. For stability at the walkway & parking area we added special roller jetty cubes through which heavy concrete blocks anchored.

It took us more than a week but the end result was very good as the beautiful floating jetty was installed with very high precisions by us. This model of floating jetty is one of its type in entire Navi Mumbai & Mumbai area.

THDC FLOATING JETTY WITH SOLAR LAMP POSTS

In year 2013 we did a very good project for THDC, Tehri. It was a huge HDPE floating jetty installed in Tehri dam, Uttarakhand.

The main usage of the jetty is to park the boats. Department has their own maintenance barge & passenger boats for tourists to visit the Tehri dam.

Earlier when there was no jetty it was very difficult for them to alight the passengers as their passenger boats are very heighted. But after installation of our floating jetty the parking of boats & alighting of passengers from boats/barge became very easy & hassle free.

There were Solar Lamp Posts also installed on floating jetty. This was the 1st time we had used solar lamps on any floating jetty by then. All these solar lamp posts re still in working condition with functional floating jetty in a day to day use.
